The fiber angle deeply affects cutting force, machined surface, and chip formation. The cutting force increases as rake angle becomes bigger. The smallest effect of rake angle on cutting forces could be found at fiber angle θ=30~45°. Three chip formation types are revealed. At θ=0°, delamination and buckling of fiber type exisit. Rake angle rules the chip formation types. Except θ=0°, fiber cutting type appears. The quality of machined surface depends upon the fiber angle. At θ=0°, fibers could clearly be found on the machined surface. Except θ=0°, epoxy resin matrix would be smeared on the machined surface. Large depth of reluctant uncut exists on every cutting condition.}, pages = {143--153}, title = {一方向性CFRP(炭素繊維強化プラスチック)切削におよぼす繊維角および工具すくい角の影響}, volume = {22}, year = {1987}, yomi = {カネエダ, トシアキ and タカハシ, マサユキ} }
