The interface can take any shapes, depending upon the boundary conditions. In general, the shape obtained by the measurement, which is affected by the secondary flows, is different from this calculated one. But, if the depth of liquid is made larger so that the effect of the secondary flow caused by the bottom surface becomes smaller, the shape obtained by measurement comes to coincide better with the shape obtained by this calculation.
