The samples tested were soybean oil, glyceryl monostearate, soybean oil-glyceryl monostearate mixture and tricaprilin. Every one hour after giving, the amount of total lipids in the lymph of the thoracic duct, the sera of the descending vena ceva and the sera of the portal vein were measured. On hydrolysis of each lipids the mixture of fatty acids was methylated and analyzed by gas liquid chromatography. These results were compared with those in normal dogs, but the differnce was just a little extent.
