Nowadays, many kinds of character types cas be represented on a display or a laser printer by a computer. But no system can represent Japanese traditional character type called "Sousho-tai", that can be seen in ancient Japanese document and is now still used by the expert writers of SHODOU. In this paper, a method of generation and display of "Sousho-tai" characters using a personal computer is proposed and its experimental result is shown. One of the features of "Sousho-tai" is that the end of a character is often connected to the beginning of next character, because a writer writes those characters without detaching the pen from the paper just like handwritten English characters. The proposed method can make a very natural "Sousho-tai" document using the technique of B-Spline curves.}, pages = {301--312}, title = {草書体文書の生成と表示の実験}, volume = {31}, year = {1996}, yomi = {シオノ, ミツル and フジカケ, ナオキ} }
