| 内容記述 | 山のいもの種子は初め不規則な落下運動をするが, それはまもなく規則性のある運動に変わる。規則性のある落下運動をしているときの運動方程式が作られ, この運動の数値解析が行われた。山のいもの種子は風のないときでも広く散布するが, 風によって更に広く薄く散布する。自然淘汰にうちかって山のいもの繁殖した理由の一部が解明された。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The equations of motion for a seed of yam (Dioscorea japonica Thunberg) are made, and the aeronautical movement of seeds of yam is investigated by means of numerical calculation. The aeronautical movement is generally different from each other, and the seeds are carried down extensively on the wind. This is one of the reasons why yams grow well in spite of natural selection. | |||||||||||||||||
