But its waste fluid are somewhat troublesome. The other hand it is said that the metallizing by dry plating has less adhesion. Therefore, latter method is employed. The speciemen are made from polyacetal (POM) and are molded by injection. POM\u0027s surface is directly metallized without precoating or pre-etching. Evaporated metals are Ni, Cu, Al and Cr, and ceramics TiN film is also tested. This investigation revealed adhesion between POM\u0027s surface and metal film or ceramic film. Obtained results are as follow. In the case of optically flat surface, they strongly adherered mutually, on the contrary, when the surface was extremly rough, then film peeled off easily.
